How we collect personal data

We collect personal data from several sources:

– from your visit to our website (through cookies or other technologies. For further information, see the paragraph on cookies below);

– directly from you (e.g. through the completion of the form to request information or via email).

What information we collect

We collect the following information:

a) e-mail, first name and last name

b) Navigation Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website collect certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols [by way of simplification only, IP address or the domain names of the devices through which users connect to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resources Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the system logs, id or unique identifier of the device, type of device].

This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing.

Navigation data do not persist for more than seven days (except for any need to ascertain crimes by the judicial authorities).

c) Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your computer when a site is visited by a user. The text stores information that the site can read when it is consulted at subsequent times.

Cookies are used for different purposes (such as, for example, performing computer authentication, session tracking, etc.) and, depending on the purpose pursued by an owner, it is possible to distinguish them into different categories:

  1. Technical cookies

Technical cookies are those that allow the normal navigation of a site as well as its proper functioning. Since they enable activities that are essential for optimal use of the Site, their function is to facilitate consultation of the site by users.

They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:

i. navigation or session cookies: they ensure the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas);

    ii. analytics cookies: these are used to collect information on the use of the sites and can be assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. This allows us to know which elements to improve and how, as well as to ensure that our pages load faster and display correctly. This site uses Google Analytics with an extension that allows IP address anonymisation by truncation and thus prevents visitor identification. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content. For more information on Google Analytics cookies, see the official Google Analytics page.

iii. functionality cookies: these allow the user to navigate according to a number of selected criteria (e.g. language) in order to improve the service provided to the user.

The use of such cookies (first or third party) is essential for the proper functioning of a website and the services linked to the sites (e.g. login or access to restricted functions on the sites).

Users’ prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies.
